2020 UN Day Global Leadership Awards

Building A Better North Texas and a Better World

To honor the founding ideals articulated in the United Nations Charter. The Dallas Chapter of the United Nations Association (UNA) honored 14 North Texans – advocates, business leaders, front-line healthcare workers, and more – who have contributed to a more safe, equitable and sustainable world. From developing high-performing, environmentally conscious buildings to defending human rights, the 2020 Global Leadership Award recipients are a force for good, with the imagination, courage, and ingenuity to apply lasting solutions to global challenges. The event was a morning filled with emotion, inspiration, humor, and passion.
