The Center for Survivors of Torture (CST) is very grateful to the generous families who have provided temporary shelter to clients. Thanks also to those who helped secure pro bono legal services and other assistance toward their asylum applications. Needs are ongoing for various forms of volunteer support. Transportation
* Train Refugees on how to use the DART transport system (It's easy! even if you have never used it!) * Take refugees to and from job interviews, and other appointments. * The volunteer would need a car, current insurance, and be available at sometime during business hours.
Mentoring * We are always looking for mentors for refugee families -- volunteers of various interests and backgounds welcome. * Currently we are receiving many Sudanese youth from the Kakuma camp (men ages 16-26) and are looking for any men who would be interested in mentoring these youth.
Donation Drives * Any groups who would like to do donation drives to benefit refugees, please get in touch!

The Texas Department of Human Services (TDHS) "Texas Works" program needs donations of new or used wheelchairs, for client use in their offices throughout the region.
